Child Support
Child Support arrest warrants are very common. Maricopa County, as well as the entire State of Arizona, takes a very strong stance concerning unpaid child support. If you don't pay your child support, expect to be arrested.
Requirements for posting Phoenix bail bonds on unpaid Child Support are:
THE FULL BAIL AMOUNT MUST BE POSTED IN CASH.
Anyone posting bail for unpaid child support obligations will have to post cash and that cash will be retained by the Court to pay for the Defendant's child support obligation.
With few exceptions, the only methods we have of posting a Child Support Bond is by acting as your agent to post your cash or by charging your credit card for the full bond amount. Since the Court will keep those funds to pay for the Defendant's child support, you will not receive your money back.
Occasionally we have been asked to put up the full amount of bail for a Child Support Bond. This may happen if the arrest has occurred over the weekend or holiday and if the family has cash available, but can't access it until banks are open; with adequate collateral in hand, we can sometimes accommodate you.
